What Recordkite does

Attio logs your emails and meetings automatically, but conversations in shared Slack channels never reach it. Recordkite fixes that. It reads the Slack Connect channels you choose and writes each conversation to the right company and people in Attio, with an AI summary.

  1. You connect Slack and Attio to Recordkite.
  2. You add Recordkite to a Slack Connect channel you share with a customer.
  3. You choose the Attio company for that channel. Recordkite suggests one.
  4. Recordkite logs every new conversation in that channel to Attio, from then on.

It also matches the people in each conversation to Attio people, so conversations show on their records too.

What it is Attio plans
Summary note A note on the company for each conversation, with a full AI summary, who took part and a link back to Slack All plans
Last Slack interaction A date on companies, people and deals showing when you last spoke in Slack All plans
Activity timeline An entry on the Activity tab of the company, people and deals, with a one-line summary Pro and Enterprise

Attio only lets apps add their own activities on its Pro and Enterprise plans. On other plans you still get the summary notes and Last Slack interaction. See What Recordkite adds to Attio for details.

  • It doesn’t copy old messages. Recordkite logs conversations from the moment you map a channel.
  • It only logs Slack Connect channels that you’ve added it to and mapped. It never logs direct messages or your internal channels.
  • It doesn’t store your message history. Messages are held, encrypted, only until they’re written to Attio. See Security and data.
